Over the past two years, discipline offences have decreased by 46%, violent offenses by 69%, and drug and alcohol offenses by 35%.
Those numbers are worth celebrating, but the story and the people behind them matter even more.
Over the past year, we have worked together to create a culture that includes clearer expectations, a school environment centered on relationships and belonging, intentional systems, and stronger accountability. It is the collective work together that has made this work possible.
Our staff have embraced this work together. Our students are responding to higher expectations. Our families continue to partner with us. Together, we are creating a school culture where more students can spend their time where they belong: in classrooms, learning. It is the people of SKHS that create this culture.
There is still work to do. Every incident represented in these numbers matters, and our goal is continued improvement in our culture, not just better statistics. But it is important to stop, recognize and celebrate progress, too.
This celebration belongs to our whole Pack. That includes you! These results are what happens when a community shares expectations, follows through consistently, builds relationships, and believes that every student deserves a safe, welcoming place to learn.
We are building something together and the data is beginning to show it. Thank you for your partnership, voice and commitment to the pack. Go Wolves!
