‘It’s Your Future Fair” is next week on Oct 1 @ 5pm! Explore over 60 tables of colleges & universities, military branches and academies, employers & apprenticeships, and community scholarship organizations. Whatever it is you want to do after high school, there is something for everyone. All grade levels and families are encouraged to attend! Seniors can file your financial aid too.
ATTN: BUS RIDERS! Starting in October, drivers will be scanning Student IDs when getting ON and OFF the bus. Students without a RFID stickers will have to be added to the route manually by the driver - this means you’ll be last to board bus to be added. Don’t hold up the line! Bring your ID card and stop at the table in the commons during lunches this week to have your sticker added and registered.
The League of Women Voters will be in the commons during lunches Tuesday & Wednesday next week to help register you to vote. 16 and 17 year-olds can sign up as Future Voters and be automatically registered to vote when they become eligible in WA.
If you plan to attend the DECA Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), permission slips are due Sept 29. To attend FLC, you must be passing all classes, attended two DECA meetings, and apply for the FLC scholarship. The scholarship link is posted in the DECA Google Classroom.
The PSAT and SAT are next month! The PSAT is open to sophomores and juniors, and the SAT is open to seniors. To sign up, you need to pay your exam fee at ASB. The PSAT is $18, and the SAT is $68. There are reduced fees for those who qualify. Please see Mrs. Wood in the library if you have any questions.
