Updates from Transportation!

We're excited to get the school year rolling! This year, we've made changes to the high school bus loop that we hope will improve traffic flow and help our buses depart more efficiently.
Students make sure you know where your PM bus is parked before you leave the building at the end of the school day on Monday! Refer to this graphic in addition, maps are posted in the commons.

Please refer to your bus route in BUS FINDER (not the bus number listed in Skyward).
What's Changing?
This year, there will be four fewer general education buses in the bus loop, which means a new bus lineup and traffic pattern.
  • 14 general education buses will exit the bus loop northbound onto Mitchell Avenue only.
  • 19 general education buses will travel eastbound on Wolves Road and exit onto Mile Hill Road.
Last year, 26 general education buses exited onto Mitchell Avenue in both directions. We expect this new
traffic pattern to reduce congestion and help buses stay on schedule.
In addition, 9 Special Services buses will continue departing from the inner circle.
How You Can Help
To keep buses moving safely and efficiently, please avoid driving on Wolves Road between 1:35 p.m. and
2:15 p.m. During this time, buses will be entering the loop, lining up, and exiting onto Wolves Road.
For Students Walking Home
  • If you are crossing Mile Hill Road, please allow buses to clear the Wolves Road intersection before using the crosswalk. This will help buses exit quickly and allow you to cross safely.
  • If you need to cross Mitchell Avenue, please wait until the buses have departed. You'll have better visibility and a safer opportunity to cross.
Thank you for your partnership in helping us provide a safe and efficient dismissal each day. We appreciate your cooperation and wish everyone a fantastic school year.
Go Wolves!
