SKHS - Veterans Day Assembly & Special Bell Schedule – Monday, November 9

On Monday, November 9, we will honor Veterans Day with a special whole-school assembly celebrating the veterans in our school and community. The presentation will include a color guard presentation by NJROTC, a choir performance, a brief history of Veterans Day, and recognition of those who have served.

To allow all students to participate while also providing time for High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) work, we will follow a modified bell schedule with a rotating assembly and PACK time. Freshmen and Juniors will attend the assembly first, followed by Sophomores and Seniors.

Important Attendance Reminder: The Attendance Office will not accept calls or notes requesting students to leave campus due to the assembly. If your student has a scheduled appointment after 12:30 p.m., please send a note with them in the morning. Passes will not be delivered after 12:30 p.m.

Please review the bell schedule below, as it differs from our normal school day.

Thank you for your flexibility and support as we take this opportunity to honor our veterans and come together as a school community!
