
Dress Code standards are designed to prepare students for transition to the next educational level or workplace. Principles of appropriate attire are necessary to establish an atmosphere conducive to successful learning. The responsibility for appropriate dress rests with the student and his/her parents/guardians, and be consistent with the educational mission of South Kitsap High School.
The following clothing is unacceptable:
- Any representation of drugs, alcohol, and/or weapons
- Visible undergarments
- Cleavage/bare midriffs
- See-through garments
- Sunglasses
- Bare backs and underarms
- Blankets
- Shorts/skirts shorter than finger-tip length
- Hoods/bandanas
