WA GAP
South Kitsap High School is part of the Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program, which guarantees your admission to a Washington public, four-year college or university: Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, Evergreen State College, University of Washington Tacoma, Washington State University, Western Washington University.
Eligibility is simple:
- Earn and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
- Meet the college academic distribution requirements (CADRs)
- You're in! --You do still need to apply but the stress of not knowing if you are accepted is eliminated.
Completing the Common App
With more than 1000 colleges and universities around the world, the Common App is a way to streamline the application process.
Completing the Coalition App
Many colleges use the Coalition platform for applications. Similar to the Common App, it streamlines your applications by allowing you to select schools from the participating schools to send your application. https://www.coalitionforcollegeaccess.org/

Meetings with College Representatives
Refer to your Grade Level Google classroom for scheduled meetings with college reps. If you are interested in one of these schools, please sign up in the Career Center to attend the presentation. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and gather information to help make your choice. Students are responsible for the work they are missing while at the presentation.
