SKHS C.T.E. - Real World Skills!

Recently, students from Mr. Spaulding’s Medical Interventions class visited St. Michael Medical Center in Gig Harbor for a behind-the-scenes look at the services provided and the professionals who deliver them.

Students had the opportunity to try their hand at wound care, treatment and rehabilitation techniques, laboratory specimen analysis, and even a surgical simulation. They also toured the facility and observed the inner workings of an ambulance.
