2020 Season Info:

Hello All,

We have heard from WIAA and our school district and we will almost certainly be starting summer conditioning on July 6th.  I will attach an updated calendar.   I will also include a detailed XC training plan for the next two weeks.  It is important athletes that you start your training in earnest.  Simply follow the plan,  start slowly, and being consistent is the most important factor in getting fit. Please touch base with me or any of our team leaders, if you have any questions.  We can’t wait to see all of you!

Monday 6-22                      20-90 min run per fitness level - Varsity Level: Work the back 1/2              

Tuesday 6-23                      20-60 min + 8 x 100 meter grass strides (strides are at mile pace)                                             

Wednesday 6-24              20-45 min Hilly run – Work the hills, easy on the downhills and flats

Thursday 6-25                    20-60 min easy run per fitness level

Friday 6-26                          20-60 min + 8 x 100 meter grass strides

Saturday 6-27                     On Your Own: 20-60 min easy run

Sunday 6-28                        On Your Own: Boys: Easy 20-30, if you feel good!      Girls: Day Off

Sunday 7-5                          On Your Own: Boys: Easy 20-30, if you feel good!      Girls: Day Off

Please complete your 2019-2020 Athletic Participation Packet, Emergency Medical Card, have a current physical, buy your ASB Card and pay for your X-Country participation fee and any other fines on your student account. This will clear you for your "pink slip" due by August 21st.
